Dolphins add running back Raheem Mostert
The Dolphins are reuniting running back Raheem Mostert and coach Mike McDaniel.
Mostert is leaving San Francisco to sign with Miami, where he played in 2015.
Mostert, 29, is a native of New Smyrna Beach who has played the last five seasons in San Francisco, where McDaniel last coached.
Mostert played only one game last season due to a knee injury, but he’s on track to play in 2022.

The Dolphins are rebuilding their poor rushing attack, having already added Chase Edmonds of the Cardinals in free agency.
Mostert has been highly effective in the wide zone scheme Miami plans to use, averaging 5.7 yards per carry in his career.
In 2019, Mostert had his best season as a pro, with 772 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, helping the 49ers reach the Super Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium.
Mostert, 5-foot-10, 205 pounds, began his career as an undrafted free agent from Purdue.
